three ways to make round shape LED display

to do round shape LED displays there are three ways:

1. edgeless circle by fan shape modules-led pixels layout along the radius

this way the moodules split along the radius. and it can be edgeless circle.

disadvantages is that the led pixels are extracted, when playing text, it may look some pixels missing.

2. cover edge type circle led display by mini size led module

to ensure the led pixels aligned both vertically and horizentally, and make the edge/bezel narrow. can use customized mini size led module and cover the edge. this way the content displaying will be upright and no led pixels extracted. and it can make any diameter circles.only disadvantage is that it has bezel/edge.

3. edgeless circle by designing special shape modules along the perimeter.

to make sure the led pixels layout vertical and horizental aligned and make the circle edgeless, it need to design customized modules along the perimeter.

this way is the best display effect and edgeless, and the cost is also the highest.

the bigger the diameter, the more special shape modules need to be designed.

like a 1m edgeless circle by this way, it needs to design 10 types of special shape modules.

depending on the application and project requriement, client can choose the suitable design.
